We recommend an oil service every 8,000 km or 6 months, whichever comes first. The ideal interval varies with the type of oil your engine uses and how you drive. Short trips, cold Calgary winters and towing can all call for shorter intervals.
Synthetic oil flows consistently across a wide temperature range, from cold starts to high heat, breaks down more slowly than conventional oil and keeps your engine cleaner. Most modern European engines require it.
